Dirrty Dirrty Auto Mechanics!

So, I have decided that mechanics just try to mess with you if you’re a girl. At first I was willing to give these men the benefit of the doubt but, not anymore not after my horrific experience.

It all started when I went to go get an oil change my neighbor had told me I needed one when he jumped my car because I left my car light on all evening. Plus, my maintenance required light had been blinking. I figured this seems like an easy enough task to accomplish so, I make my way over to ***** Auto Shop, I get to the place 10 minutes before they were about to close. At first they were unsure about seeing me but then they changed their mind. The guy who was helping me out with my car up sold me to get the highest package of oil changes because that oil I guess would last me twice as long. I don’t know if it will or not but it also came with a whole bunch of other things which I was not quite sure what they were but, I figured that I needed it.

Please note: I am not one of those girls who has no clue whatsoever about cars. I know a thing or two just not a lot. I’m a girl who loves boys and their toys so, I have to know a little something to impress the boys you know. ;-)

1/2 hour later they were done with my car or so they thought. I had been watching them the whole time and all I literally saw them do was drain the oil from my car, change the filter, and add new oil. I could have done that. And, that’s exactly what I told the guy. I also told him that that was not a whole bunch of other stuff he did to my car and just because I’m a girl doesn’t mean that I don’t pay attention, because I do. So, after the one mechanic says a bad word to me under his breathe which I just ignore because I am still a girl at an auto mechanic shop late at night, another mechanic comes over to help me out and does the inspection on my car. Then after he comes over another guy does too and double inspects my car. Awesome service now or so I thought.

The second guy to inspect my car proceeds to tell me that I am going to need a new battery, and new like little rubber things that do something I’m not quite sure what. I was going to get them until the first guy to inspect my cars says that I don’t need any work done. By that point I’m confused and frustrated so I say which one is it because I was just about to buy a new battery and rubber things for my car but now your two stories are conflicting. The second guy to inspect my car then says something in Spanish to the other guy and now all of a sudden the first guy to inspect my car says I need a new battery and rubber thing too. By this point I am soo frustrated and just want to leave this shop. I pay and leave…

The following day my maintenance required light is fully on…Coincidence? I think not…They totally f’ed up my car on purpose I bet you.

Remember to view life a little differently…so you don’t get fooled by shady auto mechanics just have them mess up your car :-D…through The Pink Looking Glass…
