Oh No She Didn't? Why, Yes she did!

Sunny, Sunny and happy San Diego, at least it was until the clouds came out. ;-(

So, my girlfriends and I are trying to do little trips or at least have time where we hang out with each other now that we’re getting older. We did a Vegas trip, went out together on New Years, and our next trip was to sunny San Diego!

On this trip we had a new addition to our group whom we will call J. I will come back to her later.

Let me just tell you one really awesome amazing story until I get to the point of what this blog for today is really about.

So, like when I was in San Diego I met this really cool guy. Just how cool was he you were wondering? Anyway, he was soo cool that when my friend who I’ll call A asked him to get my number by getting on one knee. He did! He then had to deal with people walking by and asking if he proposed to me. He then had to deal with me taking it to the next level by me saying “He’s making me a respectable woman because I’m 3 months pregnant and my baby won’t have to grow up without a daddy!” Anyway, he’s pretty cool and from LA and any guy who goes through that and still wants to hang out is pretty cool in my book. I guess I’ll go on a date with him. It’s worth a shot. How bad could it be? He already showed he had a fun side and he definitely knows that I have one now.

But, a downer was put on the whole weekend because of J. She’s one of those girls that if she doesn’t get her way she complains and b*tches until she gets it or everyone hates her. One incident that I believe sums her up very nicely is this one…

We were at Ra Sushi just eating and having an amazing time their happy hour was great and we were getting a ton of free rice. Yes, it cost nothing for them to make really but we were getting something for free. J (surprise! surprise!)is not satisfied and proceeds to tell the waiter that he should give her a free glass of wine. He says that he can’t do it. She pouts. When she realizes that that is not going to work she asks if she could get the wine that she wanted at the happy hour price. That wine was not available to be served at happy hour price but, she did not care. She threw a fit and the server got mad at her as he rightly should have. She complains the whole rest of the meal. When our check comes she proceeds to tip him $1. We split the check 3 ways and it came to around $24 and she tipped $1. How rude! So, I proceeded to tip him more because it was not fair of her to short him money. She then snapped "Why are you doing that? it's not necessary!" OKay OKay, maybe I'm over exaggerating that part just a little bit but she did say something along those lines. Just because you decide to be rude doesn't mean that I should too!

And believe me that’s not even all of what she did. That’s just one of the more ridiculous incidents that occurred over the weekend span of nonsense.

Like I’m not saying everyone has to be like me but just don’t be so rude! Being nice to people will bring you a long way!

Remember to look at life a little differently. Through the Pink Looking Glass!
