Rollin with the Homies...

So when I say "Rollin with the Homies" it makes me think of the now late Brittany Murphy in Clueless. That was the best scene ever! Props to you, you will always be remembered for your fantastic rolls especially that one!

Anyway, my "Rollin' with the Homies" comes in because I went to a Def Jam artist party thingy last night. Haha those exact words! :-) I've never seen so many hoochie mamas and baggy pants in my life!

Anyway, if you love music, which I do! And like meeting new people, which I do! It was the perfect place to be. It was fun getting to see artist who wanted to be signed to the label really just performing their craft. Some were great and some not so great. One word of advice never ask the dj to stop your track so that you can start over, I'm pretty sure that that is not a good thing to do when wanting to get signed to a label. Because I'm pretty sure they're thinking that you will do that when you have a huge concert. Huge concert means huge money! They don't want to waste that on you! Actually I take that back...They're not even thinking about you...Mean, yes! True, Yes!

And don't be the drunk girl up on a stripper pole with your a** hanging out either. I know you think it's cute and that maybe that next Drake will notice you. But, really it's just kind of trashy and really not classy! You might get a one night stand but thats about it. If you want to be a rapper's wifey you can't really be a ho. You just give off the image that you're one, not actually be one.

But, honestly it was one of the funnest (is that a word?) things ever. Going with some girls who are into music too really made it better. I even met a Def Jam Rep Person. He was cool said I had natural energy and he liked it! Yea me! Yea natural energy! I told him I was born that way I wasn't on anything. He started laughing and said he could see that. haha!
