So, recently I was told to give this guy a second chance. Going back on my no second chance rule. But, I thought okay maybe I will be open to the idea of giving him a second chance.
Here is what I was giving him a second chance for:
He ditched me on our Non-Valentine’s Day date. By non-Valentine’s Day I mean he asked me out the day before and not the actual day because Valentine’s Day was going to be too “busy” which must have been code for he is going out on another date that day. Now, I didn’t want to go on this date anyway but, when a boy is supposed to text you to finalize plans he should. And this boy didn’t.
After the fact, I received texts and e-mails not apologizing but saying he wants to hang out soon. And when are you free? Hmm…maybe I was free when you completely ignored our previous plans on Non-Valentine’s Day.
Anyway, I decided to finally say yes instead of avoiding him. He said he wanted to go out for drinks. I said I don’t feel like drinks maybe Italian Ice, he stopped texting me. OMG! This boy! I was giving him a second chance too!
So, I am going back to my no more second chance rule. If you passed the first time on this person there must have been a reason for it.
Remember: You deserve the best!

It's a Mystery!
So, I got flowers at work!
And, it's a mystery I have a lover or it could be from my mother. Or maybe it's a mother lover? Hmmm...haha!
Anyway, it's soo much fun to be able to look at my hot pink tulips on my desk. Favorite color and they spelled my name right an everything.
And I LOVE talking about them! People are like who are those flowers for? And I say ME!!!! haha!
It is sometimes a difficult task because people tend to spell my name with a "y" rather then an "i". So, that's one measure for me when it comes to talking to guys. Did you spell my name right in that text?
WAIT!!!
Thou Shall not Text!
I rather meant to say did you spell my name right in your phone? I don't want you dialing Kelly with a "y" because Kelli with an "i" is a much different person!
But, for now I will soak in my flowers and ponder who my mystery person might be...Hmm..I should write a Taylor Swift type song about it...
"Today was a fairytale..
And don't forget to always view life a bit differently!

"Friendship" Status Good!
So, remember I had previously written about Matt Kemp being in a relationship with Rihanna. Well, we can all rest easy now the Dodgers going for the World Series will not be hindered because Matt Kemp has his head in the game.
It was reported to CNN.com that:
"Despite his romantic trip to Mexico last month with Rihanna, the center fielder says he's focused on spring training and helping his team make it to the World Series.
"I can't get distracted by that," Kemp said in an interview on the L.A. Dodgers Web site of the paparazzi frenzy surrounding the Cabo San Lucas vacation. "When it's time to play baseball, that's my job. No distractions.""
That's right! It's all about baseball!
Girls are the devil!
Except for I'm not when I meet James Loney at spring training and he falls in love with me. ;-)
BTW! Spring training is soo close! Soo excited! I'll keep you posted.
At least for now we can all rest easy and know that Matt Kemp will keep his head in the game.
And just remember, to always view life a bit differently, through The Pink Looking Glass...

Best Game Ever!!!
So, yesterday at work, in between work of course! ;-)
I played the best game ever!
So, if you are in actor in L.A. or in the biz...There's this site called LA Casting. This casting assistant opened me up to this whole other world! Basically, you can pick your dream guy on this site.
Here's how you play:
Step 1: Go to LA Casting
Step 2: Go to search
Step 3: Enter in anything you want. If you like purple guys put in purple guys. If you like guys with green eyes, go ahead click on it! if you want your guy to play the guitar (musicians are soo sexy!), go ahead click that too! You can even put in your age range. Just remember this is Hollywood and people lie about that though! ;-)
Step 4: Submit your search and "Voila!" your dream guy is right in fun of you!
Honestly the best game ever!
And after all, I'm just doing research right?

Thou Shall Not Text the Boy!
After recently reading an article from the Millionaire Matchmaker herself, I thought that the topic I am about to bring up is a great one when it comes to potential dating and boys.
Texting.
The article that I read said that:
“Thou Shall Break the Text Habit- You’re not in high school, so stop passing notes. If you do, he may actually call you”
But, it is hard! It seems that all boys want to do these days is text. And then, there are even rules to these texting things, things that have to be considered like do I text back right away or give it some time. How long is too long of a text message? The length thing is one that has gotten me. I have had numerous boys tell me that I text a lot and super long. I say if you had picked up your phone to begin with I wouldn’t have to text so long. Now, the texting a lot thing is because how am I supposed to know if you got the text or not? If you don’t respond I will continue to text until I get a response. I know you’re by your phone 24/7 because when I’m with you I see you glued to your phone. But, I guess if I had followed the “Thou Shall Break the Text Habit” rule maybe I would not be in that predicament of waiting to receive a text back.
But what about those boys who schedule dates through text? Seems a little shady to me. If I am important enough to be asked out then I am important enough to receive a phone call aren’t I? Yes I am!
And this Facebook nonsense, how can we have a full on Facebook wall to wall chat but you don’t even have my number? You say you want to make plans to do something over our Facebook wall chat but as soon as I give you my number do you use it? No, you do not. We just continue in a never-ending Facebook wall chat that leads to nothing. Sigh
I wish we could go back to the olden days where boys had to pick up the phone to call you and there wasn’t voicemail so if he said he was going to call at a certain time or vice versa both parties would be at the phone. Sadly that is not the case and we have text messaging and Facebook to add onto our already difficult time of finding decent boys to date. So, I think we should all follow the Millionaire Matchmakers advice and break the text habit and Facebook one too!

Maybe Patience is a Good Thing...
Guess what?
Remember San Diego boy who “proposed” to me?
Well anyway, I had told him that I wasn’t going to call him at all. And, I did not and have not I stuck by my word. I guess sticking by my word was a good thing because he texted me to inform me that he was in Colorado now and will be back to LA in a week.
He wants to hang out! I’m kind of excited!
I thought he had forgotten me because it’s been awhile since San Diego and now.
Kind of intriguing, we will see what happens…I have to remember to follow those “Tough Love” rules. It’s going to be a little difficult for me but, I will try to manage.
In other news, my roomies bf (well, kind of boyfriend not official yet, but if you fly out from England to see a girl I'm thinking its pretty official...) from England is coming out! Kind of excited I’m going to speak to him with a British accent all week that he is here!!
Kind of excited about that too!!
I see fish and chips in my future!
In honor of a Brit coming to my house I think that I would like to dedicate a song to my roomie and her Brit...
This one's for you roomie!!! :-)
So, I guess if my roomie was patient and waited like 3 months (maybe longer?) for this Brit to come to her I can wait a week for SD boy to come to me!!
