To E-Harmonize or Not to E-Harmonize!!

So, I know I haven't been blogging for awhile but, lately I have had some friends asking me where my entries have been. So, I'm back!!! Aren't you happy? :-)

My first order of business.

So, I have had many friends who have started to go on E-harmony lately.  So far, they are loving it. I was curious so, I decided to go check it out. They seem so happy!! They are finding people who seem like they are great for them. Hey, why not? I'm single...

So, the personality quiz that you have to take took forever!!! But, as soon as I was finished I read it and they seemed pretty accurate. I then looked to see what guys they matched  me with.  Two of them seemed like they would be interesting to talk to and right up my alley.  One was a musician type and the other just took his LSATS to get into law school...I was like nice nice!!!

Definitely two different types of guys but, still both were interested in the same type of things I am into.  I wanted to start communicating with them because you can if you aren't registered as a member yet. But, downfall you just can't see the pictures of them. That's no fun!! What if they aren't like cute? And, I know that seems shallow but, whether or not you are attracted to someone def matters.

So, I went to see how much it cost to join.  It is kind of expensive not horribly so but just enough to think, I better find my  true love on this thing for the money I put into it expensive.

So, I'm thinking about it I guess the musician and pre-law student will still be my match tomorrow if I decide to join. I'm just not sure if I'm ready to start dating through the internet yet, or putting my money into it. :-)

I'm only 22...Is that too young? Or about the right age to start online dating...IDK

Especially since I met two guys  this weekend by going out like a  normal person...lol

Now, they might not be scientifically matched up for me but the fact they approached me is good enough...right?

*sigh*

It's good to be writing again...

Love you!!!

Last Year's Boy, New Year

The never ending saga of the lack of boys in my life continues...

So, last year there was this new fraternity starting back on the lovely CSUN campus.  I happen to be in a sorority and was walking by when I saw them and decided to hop in and say hi.

I met this guy who we will refer to as NHR (National Hottie Rep). I immediately thought that he was adorable, and hott, and talked to him and we clicked in convo too.  Amazing right?  Well, anyway we ended up hanging out that evening we went to my place and watched a movie and made plans to meet the next day. Everything was fine and well, or so I thought.  The next day, NHR didn't pick up the phone and missed our plans.  So, I dismissed the whole situation.  I bounced back.

So, cut to this year... A couple of guys I know just joined the fraternity the NHR is a rep for. I asked about him and they said that he was in town for their rush.  I was excited I wanted to talk to him. After all, we did have good convo it would be nice to see him. Plus, I guess part of me wanted to know what happened. Why he broke our plans.

When I saw him he immediately recognized me and we hugged it was good to talk to him again. And then this other girl came in. It was like they knew each other. Obviously not for that long because he had just come back in town but, it was obvious that  they had been talking. Whatever you know.  But, then I asked him if he wanted to go get coffee or something and he pulled the I'm too busy card.

Well, yesterday evening was the guys last fraternity rush event and I went to say hi to the guys and to be honest was hoping to see NHR.  He was there and so was the girl.  We talked, and, then she pulled the I'm not talking to this other girl act. Even though we have known each other and been on committees with each other. She pulled the girl card. So, I just decided to talk to other people and have fun. And, I was but, I was just trying to figure NHR out. I guess that was my first problem. I shouldn't be figuring out the male species. So, I just left I wasn't going to ponder it anymore. I went to say goodbye to him and that was that.

But, I will always wonder about him because I wonder if that's what he does.  If he goes to the different colleges and just meets different girls for the week and move on.  if he makes every girl feel like I felt when talking to him.

I wonder why the other girl felt she had to pull the girl card with me although we've known each other for awhile. I guess girls will always look out for number one.  And boys too!

So, I am going to start thinking about number one too! And start telling these people when I am hurt because they shouldn't do that. And, no, not everyone is nice.

But, I  have a right to let you know not to treat me a certain way too! And, I think I am going to start implementing that rule in my life.  I have too many boys who walk all over me and it's time for that to stop. So, I'm taking control of my life back.

Some People Never Change...

I have come to the realization in life that people always tend to revert back to their old ways. Sometimes, yes people can change but, most of the time they don't.

So, what do you do when you think that someone who is your friend, or someone who you trust turns their back on you not just once but yet again. Are those unhealthy relationships that you just need to remove from your life?  Do you think that they are worth trying to fix or do you just need to let them go?

What do you do when you have a friend that doesn't support you liking a guy but, in front of you openly supports another girl?  What do you do?

What do you do when they tell you they support you or whatever one minute but, then don't support you the next?

I have a friend like this and all it does is bring me pain and heartbreak every time I see them.
Maybe, it's not worth the friendship, or whatever you would categorize it as.

Every once in awhile you have to think about yourself. So,  I am going to say that maybe its time to remove yourself from them.  It might be hard especially when you have friends that tie you together but, maybe in the end it's better to cut of your ties with talking to that person and what plans you make with them. Yes, you might see them in passing and you don't have to be rude but, you don't have to tell your soul either.

Just a little heart therapy. :-)

I'm tired of boys and their meaningless words!

And, yes I call them boys because no man should be acting like this.

Don't send me meaningless texts saying you want to hang out, make plans to hang out, then text me the day of the plans, and then blow me off.  And, then when I text you to see where you are not text back!!!

If you don't want to hang out anymore then just don't. But don't just not tell me what's going on. Grow a pair and tell me.

But, don't f*ck with my feelings.

I am worth sooo much more then that.

Because, here's what I'll do I will continue to have an amazing night like I did! Because I guess by now I'm just used to men and their meaningless words. Because ya'll seem to do it so frequently to me (and the whole female species). That I just have to not let it bother me. I even expect it now.

And, then I will blow off steam by writing a blog and then I will forget about it because no man is worth my feelings being hurt.

So ladies be strong when you encounter douche bag guys!

And, men don't be a douche bag and feed me meaningless words, or any woman!

Thank Goodness I'm a Girl!!!

So, I was driving home today from visiting my mom. I am kind of tired, I've been up all day...

Next thing you know...

Flashing Lights. And, no not like the Kanye song.

Yours truly was getting pulled over.  I didn't even know what I had done.

So, he pulls me over I quickly turn off the radio and wait for him to walk over.

He said do you realize your headlights weren't on?  I felt soo dumb. You have no idea. My headlights weren't on...Like who does that? Apparently, I do.

And then, he keeps on looking in the back seat of my car.  I had just cleaned it out so I know that it was clean. So IDK what he was looking at.

And, then he asks for my license. Surprise, Surprise!!! I don't have it!!! Oh no!!!! I truly should not drive. Ever!

So, I have to tell him the numbers to my license and then I give him my registration. He didn't ask but, I just gave. I didn't know what to do I didn't have my id. All I was thinking was this is soo bad.

So, he leaves to check everything out and all I could think of was I just wanted to visit my mom and little brother and go home. I was never driving to Castaic again.

He  comes back and says there's a warrant for your arrest. I'm going to have to take you in.  I was like WTF!!! What did I do? I went through my head and could think of nothing. I had no defense I was just going to jail.  But, then he says just kidding. You're clean you can go! I was soo excited and a little upset that he did that. Maybe it was funny for him but, def not for me.

But, then he looked in the back of my car again.  I was going to have to check what was back there when I got home.

So, when I got home I checked. I had a jacket, a time warner cable bill, and a Bible.

All, I could think of was thank goodness for that Bible that must have been what he was looking at. It's good to be down with G-O-D!!

I am so glad He made me a girl!! Cause I got away with nothing on my record. Sweet!!!

Now, I want to hear all about your run ins with the law.

Love you!!!

Creepy Older Men...

Okay, so what is up with creepy, old men hitting on young impressionable girls?

I have been thinking about this lately because I am young and I believe attractive. :-) And, everywhere I go old men try to hit on me. Eww! So gross!

What makes anyone over the age of 40 or 50 (and they obviously look that age and are just gross looking) think that me a young, attractive 22 year old is going to flirt with them?

I don't know maybe it's because of all the girls my age who are gold diggers or something. But, I would take a young, hot, passionate lover over a old, gross, rich man any day of the week.

But, how old is too old? What's the best age gap?  Some people believe women should date older men. But, how old?

And, what about those young women who date dying grandfathers to get their money? Is that wrong? or simply a strategic business plan to make money?  Someone's got to pay the bills right? LOL!

Well, I go for young and hott!! Spicy hott! Muy caliente!!!!!

What do you go for?

I am going to leave you with a quote from the movie Big Daddy. Adam Sandler's character Sonny says it...

"You'll be missing me when you have that big, white, wrinkly body on top of you with that loose skin and old balls...gross!"

Love you!

Who did you kiss at midnight?

Happy New Year!

Okay, now for my story...

Who did you kiss at midnight?....

Well, I didn't kiss anyone at midnight. I had a fairly mellow New Years. Dropped my roomie off at a party mingled there for a bit and then went over to my church to bring in the new year there. I went there by myself which was fine. I just wanted to go to The Vine for their New Year celebration. (BTW, if you live in Northridge and are looking for a fun college/young adult environment it's amazing! You should go.)

So, I'm standing there, singing and having fun being there when all of a sudden I see my childhood sweetheart two rows in front of me. I contemplated going to sit next to him. I have seen him before that night and knew that he wouldn't mind me sitting there by him. But, I didn't I just wanted to be myself for some reason.

Anyway, I am sitting there and having fun singing and listening to the words of wisdom being spoken throughout the service and then finally its the countdown until midnight.  Everyone is excited including me. And, then its Happy New Year! I hugged some random girl I don't even know because I was excited and just wanted to hug someone. LOL! I do random stuff like that.

Anyway, then my childhood sweetheart, I guess he noticed me there waved to me and then came and gave me a hug too! I don't know why but, for some reason it was just the sweetest hug ever. You know, just one of those hugs that makes you happy to know someone like that person and happy that you guys shared memorable childhood moments together.

I stayed at church for a little while longer and then had to go pick up my roomie from the party. As I walked out I ran into childhood sweetheart again. I tried talking to him and then I like spazzed or something. I became awkward. Oh boy! I hardly ever talk to this person anymore and now he is going to think I'm a spaz so, I just left before I could do anymore damage.

So, no, I didn't kiss anyone at midnight but, I shared a special moment with someone from my childhood. It was a special night for me. I was happy! IDK why but, I was happy...

Until I had to pick up my roomie...LOL! But, that's a story for another time.

So, what special New Years Eve moment did you have?  Tell me about it.  I'd love to hear.

Love you!

Byee! and Peace in 2009!
